Pastor Dave Richter, the son of an Alliance Pastor, has been involved in ministry for over 45 years. He began upon graduation serving as a Youth and Music Pastor in Norwalk Ohio where he served for 6 years. He spent 8 years pastoring the Willow Grove Bible Church in Willow Grove Pennsylvania for 8 years. His last ministry before retirement, was in Norwalk Ohio where he served as Senior Pastor for 28 years. 

Since his retirement in 2019, Pastor Richter has served as an Interim Pastor in Jamestown New York, Ithaca New York, and here in Watsontown. 

Pastor Dave’s wife Renee grew up in the Watsontown church. Her great grandfather, Alfred Young Sr. was instrumental in the churches early years serving in various ministry positions. Dave and Renee’ met while attending Toccoa Falls College and were married between their junior and senior years.

Pastor Richter has a B.S. Degree from Toccoa Falls College, as well as a five-year Th.B. Degree. He also has a M.A. Degree in Pastoral Studies from Columbia Theological Seminary.

His hobbies include cheering for the Pittsburgh Steelers, daily walking, and spending time with family.
